2023 – 2024 Rosedale School Message

Rosedale 2023-2024 school year has begun. We are so fortunate to be in such an active and supportive community with a 'family style' school! Our school has grown and we are welcoming in many new students this year.Please join us in welcoming our new staff (lists below).  

We have a new lunch time and information about our combined classes in this letter.

NEW LUNCH TIME 11:45 – 12:30

  • Grades 1 – 6 will have outdoor recess from 11:45 – 12:10 and indoor lunch from 12:10 – 12:30
  • Grades 7 – 9 will have lunch homerooms from 11:45 – 12:10 and outdoor time from 12:10 – 12:30
    • Grades 7 – 9 students may also go off campus for lunch 
  • Bell Times:
  • Monday – Thursday
  • 8:15 – teacher supervision outside
  • 8:25 – school opens
  • 8:30 – classes begin – students arriving after 8:30 are marked late
  • 10:00 – 10:15 – Grades 1 – 6 Recess
  • 10:30 – 10:45 – Grades 7 – 9 Nutrition Break (recess)
  • 11:45 – 12:30 Lunch
  • 3:10 – Students dismissed

  • Friday
  • 8:15 – teacher supervision outside

  • 8:30 – classes begin – students arriving after 8:30 are marked late

  • 8:15am – staff will be outside for supervision
    8:25am – students will enter school (students only)
    8:30 - classes begin
    • Kindergarten meet on the ramp to the front doors, and will use the front door to enter and exit all year

    • Grade One will meet in the outdoor classroom - to the right of the front doors, and will use the front door to enter and exit all year
